Tinnitus is a problem that affects nearly 50 million people in the U.S. For some, the problem sneaks in like a thief in the night, and vanishes the same way. While others, have the persistent, nagging ringing in their ears for years.
There are many different natural approaches you can try, before seeking medical attention. Although, with this particular ailment…a medical doctor is pretty much useless in treating the condition. Here is a list of different natural remedies for tinnitus.

- Ginko Biloba – Improves overall wellbeing, and increase circulation throughout the body. Take at least 150 mg per day
- Black Cohosh – Is commonly used to treat menstrual cramps, ease the pain of childbirth, muscle pains, anxiety and nervousness. It is also used for tinnitus and has been shown to greatly ease the symptoms.
- Mullein - Used to treat respiratory problems. I would imagine if you are suffering from tinnitus because of an allergy, or sinus problems, then this may help. Has a diuretic effect and alleviates swelling.
- Hawthorn – Promotes good cardiovascular health and circulation.
- Cornus - Treates lightheadedness, impotence, menstrual cramps, and excessive sweating. Has also been effective in curing tinnitus.
